Pal Zurmang Kagyud Monastery or also known as Lingdung monastery founded in 1999 is a 45 minutes, 20 KM drive from Gangtok on the Rumtek- Ranka- Gangtok road. It is a fine example of Tibetan Monastic architecture, with several levels of sacred rooms stacked against the steep greenhillside.
