Important information for Service Providers & Tourists
SOP training requirement for enrollment: Going forward, for service providers to enroll themselves in the tourism portal, the requirement to furnish the training details as per the tourism unlock 1.0 guidelines, has now been made non mandatory. However, the other remaining enrollments criteria remains the same. For service providers who still wish to conduct in-house training programs can refer the tourism unlock 1.0 SOP guidelines.
Service provider listing in the portal: The listing of business entities (accommodation units, travel agents) in the tourism portal currently is in the alphabetical order. For travel agents, the order is further in accordance to the grades as recognized by the department. Besides the aforementioned, no other rules/criteria/evaluation benchmarks has been adopted that would determine the order in which the listings appear in the portal. Grading for the Travel agents: The grades for travel agents are purely based on the current grading rules prescribed by the department. Please refer the grading rules with the Hospitality Wing of the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department for further details.
