Day-wise Itinerary Details

Day 1 - Bagdogra/Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Railways Station/ Siliguri to Gangtok 

On arrival day at Bagdogra, Pakyong, or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our representative will welcome you all and take you on a road trip to Gangtok. It takes approx. 120 km (5 hours) to reach the main capital, Gangtok. On the way, you can enjoy the mesmerizing views of rivers, mountains, and greenery. After reaching Gangtok, if you have time, you can go to the main market, MG Mark, for shopping. Overnight stay at Gangtok. 

 

Day 2: Day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir 

After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), followed by Baba Mandir (13,200 feet). It takes approximately. 2 hours. To reach the destination from Gangtok. You can even visit the extra Additional Point Nathula Pass at an additional cost (3000 to 5000). After sightseeing, we will move back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung on the Way: Sightseeing 

After breakfast, start your journey towards Lachung. On the way, you will see amazing views of sightseeing spots like Twin Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Singhik View Point. It takes approx. 117 km to 5 hours. After reaching Lachung overnight, stay at Lachung.

 

Day 4: Yumthang Valley Excursion/Transfer to Gangtok 

After breakfast, drive towards the beautiful Yamthang Valley (12000 feet), which is also known as the Valley of Flowers. Yumthang Valley is paradise for nature lovers, with lush greenery and mesmerizing mountain views. 

If you want to explore additional point zero (15000 feet), which is 23 km from Yumthang Valley, then you can pay an extra cost of $4000 per vehicle. After that, we will move towards Gangtok and overnight stay at Gangtok.

 

 

Day 5: Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi Ravangla

After breakfast, drive towards Pelling. On the way, you can explore places like Namchi and Ravangla. In Namchi and Ravangla, you can visit most attractions, like Chardham and Buddha Park. It takes approx. 130 km to 5 hours to reach the beautiful place of Pelling. After sightseeing, we will proceed towards Pelling and an overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Pelling Fullday Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will cover the most important sightseeing points in Pelling, which include:

1. Rabdentse Ruins

2. Pemayangtse Monastery 

3. A sky walk

4. Kanchenjunga falls

5. Darab Village

6. Khecheopalri Lake

7. Rimbi waterfalls

8. Sangachoeling Monastery

After completing sightseeing, stay overnight at Pelling.

 

Day 7: Pelling to Darjeeling Transfer

After breakfast, drive towards Darjeeling. It takes approx. 75 km to 4 hours. To reach Darjeeling from Pelling. After reaching Pelling, you can rest at the hotel, and in the evening, you can visit Mall Road Chowrasta on your own. Overnight stay at Darjelling.

 

Day 8: Tiger Hill and full-day Darjeeling sightseeing

Early in the morning, around 4 a.m., we will visit Tiger Hill to see the beautiful sunrise and Himalayan peaks like Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest. After returning from Tiger Hill, on the way, you can visit Ghoom Monastery and proceed towards the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will cover the most important sightseeing points in Darjeeling, which include:

1. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday)

2. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday)

3. Batasia Loop

4. Peace Pogada

5. Japanese Temple

6. Tenzing Gumbo Rock

7. Tibetan Refugee Center (closed on Sunday)

8. Tea estate

After completing sightseeing, stay overnight at Darjeeling.

 

 

Day 9: Darjeeling to Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Siliguri Transfer 

On the last day, after breakfast with a smile on your face, our representative will drop you off at Bagdogra, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, or Siliguri.
